Food bag cuttings are functional machines for opening bags of up to 50 kg that guarantee ergonomics, maximum operator safety and minimum material waste. Depending on the capacity requirements and the number of bags to be slit, they can be manual or automatic, already set up to be depressurised by a central vacuum or with a built-in dust collector filter. In order to avoid dispersion of material in the environment, once the bag has been emptied, the operator can dispose of it through an opening in the inside wall of the bag cutting box. The bag will be conveyed to the compactor for convenient disposal.

The bag openers are made with geometries to minimise material. from stagnating inside. The flexibility of the bag cuttings lends itself to countless configurations to suit a wide range of applications.

Low capacity levels, typically up to 30 bags per hour, can be managed with a manual bag cutting which, to prevent excessive operator strain, can be integrated with a vacuum lifter. For higher capacity levels, or where there is a need to automate processes, automatic bag cuttings are required.
