Semi-automatic filling machines for high production volumes
The bagging of finished or semi-finished products generally takes place after the mixing or screening stages. The machine operates semi-automatically, requiring the presence of an operator, who is responsible for placing the bag to be filled into position and removing it once it has been filled.
Semi-automatic filling machines are suitable for production environments where high output volumes are required, but not to the extent that a fully automatic filling process is necessary.
The semi-automatic bagging machine can achieve an output of up to 100 bags per hour, and its versatility means it can be used for bags ranging from 5 kg to 25 kg. Its modular design and compact size make it easy to install in any facility and integrate with any other dosing or conveying equipment, hoppers, screw conveyors and much more.

The bagging machine and its basic configuration
Basic configuration filling machine
In its basic configuration, the bagging machine consists of a storage hopper, a micro-doser fitted with an inverter for filling the bag, and a weighing scale on which the bag rests, so that the operator can constantly and accurately check the quantity of product being placed into the bag.
Depending on the type of bag used, the bagging machine may be suitable for filling two types of bags
• Valve bags
• Open bags
As the bag is filled from the top whilst open, the bagging machine is fitted with two clamps to secure the filling opening; these are operated by two buttons which the operator must press simultaneously to ensure the operator’s complete safety whilst the bag is being secured. The bag’s filling is controlled by a foot pedal.
